Body Type Calculator

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Body Type Calculator (bodytypecalculator.pro) handles, and how. It describes how the site actually works today.

Last updated:

Summary

  • The measurements you enter in the calculator are processed in your browser and are never sent to us.
  • We do not save your measurements or results, in your browser or anywhere else.
  • There are no accounts, and no analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts.
  • One item of browser storage remembers your cookie preference.
  • Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you load a page.

Calculator measurements

When you enter your bust, waist and hip measurements, the calculation runs in JavaScript inside your browser. The numbers are not sent to a server, not written to cookies or browser storage, and are discarded when you reset the form, reload the page or leave the site.

Browser storage and cookies

We store a single entry in your browser’s local storage, named btc-consent. It records your cookie choices (whether optional analytics and marketing categories are allowed), a version number, and the time you made the choice. It stays in your browser until you clear your browser data or change your choice, and it is not sent to us. Some privacy laws treat this kind of storage similarly to cookies, which is why we explain it here. The site sets no cookies of its own. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics and marketing

The site does not currently use any analytics, advertising, marketing or social media services. The optional categories in our cookie settings are off by default. If we add such a service in the future, it will only load after you allow the relevant category, and we will update this policy and ask for your choice again.

Information received by our hosting provider

When your browser requests a page, the server hosting this website automatically receives technical information that browsers send with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. Hosting providers typically use this information to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems, and may keep it in server logs for a limited period. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.

Fonts and other resources

All fonts, icons and scripts are served from this website’s own domain. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or other third-party content networks when you view the site.

Emails you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply and to deal with your request, and we keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. The contact page’s form does not send anything itself; it only prepares a draft in your own email app.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

  • You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using “Cookie Settings” in the footer or on the Cookie Policy page.
  • You can delete the stored preference by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
  • Depending on where you live — for example, in a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, or in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom — you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. In practice, the only personal information we may hold is email correspondence. To make a request, contact us.
  • We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles information changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
